Great news for the Counter-Strike esport afficionados!

ESL has announced its plans for Counter Strike esports events for 2024. It includes events around the world, including the fan-beloved IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne as the main events for the upcoming year - the Pro Tour Championships. Both tournaments have a prize pool of USD 1,000,000

In addition to this, we will also get a series of 5 ESL Pro Tour Masters with one of them taking place in China not hosted for 4 years (the exact city not yet announced)

There will also be a continuation of the ESL League with minor schedule changes. The length of the league is being reduced from 5 to 3 weeks by playing matches simultaneously in different groups. This is to increase the intensity of the show.

ESL has also announced two formats in which players will be able to access the aforementioned, more prestigious competition. ESL Challenger and ESL Challenger League will allow players to qualify for the Masters. The tournaments will be conducted live and online. The location of the live tournaments has not yet been announced.
