A new wave of players has arrived on the CS2 servers!

Looks like the CS2 launch has gone well! Counter-Strike servers are getting overloaded with huge numbers of players testing the new title. Some of them reached their limit yesterday, as reported by the devs on the official X account.

Turns out a lot of you want to play Counter-Strike 2!

If you're having trouble finding a match it's because we've hit server capacity in different regions.

We're adding more server capacity as fast as possible. Thanks for your patience while this is being addressed.

At the same time, they announce that they are working on increasing the limits. There are many indications that if they can do this quickly, we will have a new record for active players in CS2! It currently stands at 1,818,773 active players in CSGO, and the highest score yesterday was as high as 1,471,730 players in CS2. You can see the chart for yourself below! (Thanks to SteamDB)
